We're building Top of Mind - a personal relationship app where you capture notes and the AI handles everything else. Extraction, organization, reminders. Frictionless.

We're about to launch publicly. No playbook exists yet. No brand guidelines to stay inside. Just a blank canvas, a strong product vision, and a founding team eager to build something that lasts.

The Role

You'll be our first marketing hire, joining at the ground floor before our public launch. Together with the founding team, you'll shape our positioning, launch strategy, and the first content that defines who Top of Mind is in the market. That includes:

  • Brand identity, voice, and messaging - across our website, socials, and in-app
  • Production and curation of marketing content and managing of partnerships across channels
  • Launching, managing, and scaling campaigns across relevant channels, geographies, and user segments - always finding the right tone and message for the targeted audience
  • User lifecycle management - setting up conversion and retention loops across different user touchpoints (in-app, email, etc.)
  • Steering marketing budgets based on cost, reach, and conversion across the user funnel
  • Following user feedback and performance KPIs to define app, web, and social A/B tests, and being the 'voice of the customer' in product roadmap discussions
  • Community building within professional networks
  • Laying the foundation for a scalable marketing function, and the future of the growth team

You

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in B2C startup marketing and have been close to a product launch before - and loved it.
  • You're outgoing, not afraid to speak up, and energized by the early chaos that comes with building something from scratch.
  • You're a content creator at heart. Whether that's a sharp LinkedIn post, a punchy video, or a case study that actually gets read.
  • You're fluent in the platforms that matter today: LinkedIn, Meta, Google (incl. YouTube), and TikTok - and you know how to make each one work differently.
  • You've worked across channels too - leveraging influencer collaborations and brand partnerships.
  • You love AI tools and use them naturally as part of how you work and create.
  • When it comes to performance, you measure and decide based on what actually matters: CAC, funnel conversion by region / channel / segment, and LTV.
  • You've run A/B tests, drawn real conclusions from them, and adjusted spend and strategy accordingly.
  • You write and communicate in native or near-perfect English. Additional languages such as Dutch are a plus given our Benelux footprint.
